It advocates for better preparedness at national, provincial and local levels to make sure that appropriate and effective response measures are taken during flood emergencies to minimize the loss of lives and properties. By presenting flood preparedness planning, it aims to put in place a set of appropriate arrangements in advance for an effective response to floods.
