Rwanda: National preparedness plan for water sanitation and hygiene interventions

The Rwandan emergency preparedness plan for Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) guides the Government of Rwanda and its partners to prepare for and respond to emergencies which disrupt WASH services.

The main objective of this sectoral preparedness plan is to give guidance on the WASH sector humanitarian response in a coordinated way. This preparedness plan aims to increase the speed, scale and scope of life saving assistance delivered with immediate effect of an emergency.
