UN Women works towards improving working conditions for women market vendors in Fiji, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu, with its ‘Markets for Change (M4C) Project’ funded by the Australian Government, with more recent funding support from Global Affairs Canada. Improving the infrastructure of local markets and disaster preparedness is one of the key outcome areas addressed by the M4C project.
