This document assesses the risks posed by climate change to children, and especially to girls, who are excluded from taking part in risk reduction policies, planning and decision-making, and sharing information and resources, which means they are less prepared for the impacts of climate change. It calls for governments to: (i) invest adaptation funds in education; and (ii) support girls to take an active role in the climate change debate.
