30 innovations linking disaster risk reduction with the sustainable development goals

This publication is the second volume in the “30 Innovations” series and includes an additional 30 innovations focusing on ten sectors: emergency response, gender, health, agriculture, water, children, education, disabilities, livelihood, and early warning—to demonstrate the strong association between DRR and SDGs. It demonstrates the nature of complexities surrounding the DRR issue, which should also focus on both natural and man-made hazards such as technological and chemical threats. A strong partnership and collaboration beyond sectors is urgently required.
