UN Women, the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), Australian Aid, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Women’s International Network for Disaster Risk Reduction, as well as the Stockholm Environment Institute, the Huairou Commission, Government of Finland and Permanent Mission of Norway organised together a 90 minute virtual event to discuss how a gender-responsive approach to COVID-19 recovery can build resilience and reduce future disaster risk.
