CSW66: Sixty-sixth Commission on the Status of Women
The achievement of gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental, and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes.
The Sixty-sixth Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) will take place from 14 to 25 March 2022. Representatives of Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organisations (NGOs) from all regions of the world are invited to attend the session.
The priority theme is: ‘Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes.’
The programme of side events and parallel events, or activities organized outside the formal programme of the session of the Commission, provides an excellent opportunity for Member States, UN entities and NGOs to discuss themes of the Commission and other critical gender equality issues.
