Gender equality is a foundation for a peaceful and prosperous world and essential for development. Growing evidence shows how removing barriers unlocks economic productivity, boosts benefits through trade, reduces poverty, deepens social cohesion, and enhances well-being and prosperity for current and future generations.
At a whole day event, the World Bank Group Geneva Office Impact Series, in collaboration with the Geneva offices of UN Women, the UN Population Fund and the World Trade Organization Trade and Gender Office, will showcase impactful solutions to accelerate gender equality using recent evidence from the organizations’ support to developing countries.
