Laisa shared that as a woman from a farming family, and now running her own farm, she is not always taken seriously.

Laisa is calling for improved services for women farmers, and gender-responsive practices by the Ministry of Agriculture - including training their staff - to ensure that women are regarded as equally successful farmers and entrepreneurs to their male counterparts.
