Investing in Inclusive Resilience and Preparedness

This webinar is an opportunity to discuss the importance of including diverse voices, demonstrate localisation approaches that promote inclusion, celebrating women’s innovation and leadership, and will highlight how Pacific Island communities can build on Pacific Island women’s local, traditional knowledge, technical expertise and innovation. This webinar is a preparatory webinar for the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, with the theme "From Crisis to Resilience: Transforming the Asia-Pacific Region’s future through disaster risk reduction". It brings attention to Pacific Island experiences with multi-hazards to inform the Sendai Framework Mid-term Review of how implementation can get better on Inclusion.
