Disability inclusive actions for a greener future
This UN Women side event at the COP27 will be held on 12 November 2022, 18:00-19:00 Cairo time (UTC+2) at Blue Zone COP27, Just Transition Pavilion, Sharm El-Sheikh.
Persons with disabilities are among the groups most impacted by climate change but have been largely invisible in climate action discussions. This side event co-organized by ILO, OHCHR, UN PRPD, Global Affairs Canada, IDA, UNDP, UN WOMEN and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland will discuss how to ensure more attention to persons with disabilities in climate action discussions at national, regional and global level. The event will be livestreamed on ILO's site.
