COP27: Climate finance, gender and conflict
This side event will feature the soft launch and discussion of the report “Climate finance, gender and conflict – towards financing for sustaining peace and women’s empowerment" on 08:00-9:30 AM EST, 10 November 2022.
UNDP, the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) and the Climate Security Mechanism (CSM) will launch a new report, “Climate finance, gender and conflict – towards financing for sustaining peace and women’s empowerment,” that examines the gendered aspects of climate finance in conflict-affected and fragile contexts.
The event will be organized on Zoom as a Webinar on 08:00-9:30 AM EST, 10 November 2022.
