Children need to be empowered and prepared with training in Disaster Risk Reduction to act as role models in their communities.
This session will provide DRR knowledge through the creative COPE series of story books and related educational approaches. It aims to scale up resources and advocacy for children’s disaster risk education, for example, on Multi-Hazard Early Warning System literacy, to support children and youth to play a better role in DRR.
