Join us live for the launch of UN Women’s Caribbean Model for “Resilient, Inclusive, SMART and Safe SIDS (RISS) Model". The Launch is via Zoom on 31ST October from 10am-12pm AST.
The Caribbean RISS Model aims to accelerate momentum in the Caribbean for participatory, inclusive and gender-responsive urban planning approaches, to enhance the safety and capacity of women, men, children, the elderly, the LGBTQ+ community, persons with disabilities, youth, Indigenous people and all marginalized groups.
You would also experience the sharing knowledge on innovative and gender-transformative urban planning solutions across the Caribbean that have involved local communities and local action to strengthen climate resilience through an engaging panel discussion.
