The 9th Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action was held virtually from the 7th to the 9th of December 2021. This year’s event, entitled ‘Meeting the challenges of future crises: Protecting lives and livelihoods with anticipatory action,’ was hosted by the Anticipation Hub and co-organized by FAO and WFP in partnership with the German Red Cross, IFRC, the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre (RCCC), OCHA, and the Start Network.
Among numerous sessions of the CADRI partner agencies covering an impressive spectrum of topics, the CADRI Partnership presented one of the 34 parallel sessions together with the German Red Cross on “Building a strong foundation: tips & tools for preparedness capacities and Anticipatory Action feasibility”, on the 8th of December from 16:40 to 17:30 CET.
