Now that Viet Nam’s climate pathway to 2030 is set, among the key challenges raised by policy makers are the missing links between gender and climate change priorities and the lack of data and evidence connecting specific climate-sensitive sectors with gender equality. Thus, the report aims to significantly contribute to advancing Viet Nam’s progress in achieving its climate goals in the key adaptation and mitigation sectors identified by the government as priority areas - agriculture, water management, waste management and renewable energy.
