Regional Platforms for disaster risk reduction – 2021: gender-related outcomes

Critical gender advancements have been made in all 2021 Regional Platforms to strategically position gender equality at the very heart of disaster risk reduction and resilience. UN Women is active more than ever in all critical regional and global DRR and resilience processes to ensure Member States and UN entities’ focus on the gender-responsive Sendai Framework mid-term review process and enabling the gender-responsive implementation of the Sendai Framework in more and more countries.
