This report addresses the impact of floods in Pakistan, particularly the impact on women who are in need of immediate humanitarian assistance including food, drinking water, shelter, essential medicines, and other items of daily use.
Other issues addressed: (i) how serious damage to irrigation infrastructure massively affects agriculture; (ii) how the power infrastructure of Pakistan takes a severe blow from flood impacts; (iii) rebuilding livelihoods; (iv) promoting women's leadership in Pakistan's emergency response: (v) disaster risk reduction and preparedness; and (vi) social protection of women and children.
