In the last two decades, there have been considerable advancements in the formulation and review of policy instruments on gender equality in Vanuatu and across the region. The National Gender Equality Policy 2020-2030 builds on these past achievements to further accelerate the realization of equal rights, opportunities, resources and rewards for women and girls. It seeks to cultivate a renewed sense of confederation between women and men to widen and mobilize support for gender equality.
