This side event will feature the launch of the 2022 Disability Data Report of the disability data initiative (DDI). The report documents the availability of questions on disability between 2009 and 2021 in national censuses and surveys, including in recent COVID-19 High-Frequency Phone Surveys. It also presents 32 indicators disaggregated by disability for 35 countries with MICS6 (Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey round 6) data. This report presents results on inequalities between women with and without disabilities regarding education, personal activities, health, the standard of living, multidimensional poverty, insecurity, and subjective wellbeing. The moderator (Akiko Ito) will introduce the event. Then, Sophie Mitra and Jaclyn Yap will share an overview of the results presented in a report, data tables, country briefs and the website of the DDI. Then discussants will make some comments and then there will be an interaction with the audience in a Q&A session.
